Former Juventus (Turin) and France striker David Trezeguet has returned to Argentina. He previously played for Buenos Aires-based River Plate and won the country’s second-division title with the team. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
Trezeguet will now join the club’s management. Although his exact role has not been disclosed, River Plate introduced him at a presentation ceremony attended by the entire board.
At the event, it was announced that Trezeguet will handle the club’s strategic matters and represent River Plate at an institutional level. It is worth recalling that the French footballer ended his professional career in 2015.
