Elephant attack: American millionaire hunter trampled to death

Another tragic incident in Africa has captured public attention. A herd of elephants reportedly trampled and killed an American millionaire hunter in Gabon. The Daily Mail reported this, citing Collect Africa.
According to the report, the deceased was Ernie Dozio, who owned a vineyard in California and had been hunting exotic animals in Africa and America for many years.
It turned out that he and his companion encountered five adult elephants and a calf while hunting an antelope in the forest. Sensing the hunters had weapons, the animals reacted sharply and attacked.
Ernie Dozio died at the scene as a result of the fierce attack, while his companion sustained various injuries. This was reported by a former hunter from Cape Town who knew the deceased.
Experts emphasize that elephants, especially when with their young, can be extremely protective and dangerous. Therefore, the likelihood of them attacking in such situations is considered very high.
