Cristiano Ronaldo, by agreement with the coach, is not featuring in AFC Champions League Two group-stage matches. Even so, Al-Nassr continue to deliver results without their leader. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
On Wednesday, the Saudi club won their fifth group match as well, making it five wins from five games. In Tajikistan, Istiklol suffered a heavy 0–4 defeat.
After the match, Ronaldo reposted on social media the news that Al-Nassr finished the group in first place and advanced to the next round, adding fire and applause emojis.
The 40-year-old forward’s current contract with Al-Nassr runs until mid-2027.
