Uzbekistani grandmasters have once again demonstrated their potential on the international online chess stage. In the recently concluded Freestyle Friday tournament, Nodirbek Yakubboyev delivered a confident performance to secure first place.

During the tournament, Yakubboyev participated in 11 rounds, collecting 10 points and outperforming all his opponents. This result secured not only the victory but also a prize of 400 dollars. Looking at the standings, it is evident that he maintained a stable and high-level performance throughout the competition, recording numerous victories and only a few draws.

Second place was taken by V Pranaoʻ from India with 9.5 points, while Hans Niemann from the United States secured the third position with 9 points. The participation of renowned grandmasters such as Fabiano Caruana among the strong competitors further enhanced the prestige of the tournament.

Another chess player from Uzbekistan, Shamsiddin Vohidov, also participated in the competition. He finished in 13th place with 7 points after 11 rounds. The standings show that while he had successful games against some strong opponents, he lacked overall consistency.
