One of Argentina’s oldest clubs, Quilmes, founded in 1887, is going through a difficult period. Even so, the team still has a large base of loyal supporters, and the club has addressed them directly. This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .
The management plans to begin stadium reconstruction, but the help needed is not the usual kind of financial donation. The club invited fans to do it “the old-fashioned way” — come to the stadium, do physical work, and carry out repair and refurbishment tasks.
Despite the scorching summer in the Southern Hemisphere, fans welcomed the call and are actively responding to support the initiative.
