Former Juventus striker and ex-France international David Trezeguet has returned to Argentina once again. He previously played for River Plate as well, even winning the country’s second-division title. This was reported by euro-football.ru. reports .
Trezeguet will now work off the pitch at the Buenos Aires club — he is joining River Plate’s management. The club ceremonially introduced the former footballer in the presence of the entire executive team.
The exact position given to Trezeguet has not been officially disclosed. Nevertheless, it was stated that he will handle strategic matters and represent River Plate at an institutional level.
It is worth noting that the French footballer ended his professional career in 2015.
