Although the software has been updated, the manufacturer decided to retain the hardware configuration from previous generations, utilizing the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 processor and the BES 2800 co-processor. The body of the new gadget is crafted from titanium alloy, weighing 43 grams without the strap. The device is equipped with a 466x466 pixel LTPO OLED display protected by sapphire glass. The screen brightness reaches 600 cd/m² in standard mode, while in sports mode, this figure increases up to 3,000 cd/m². The watch features 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

The OnePlus Watch 4 meets IP69, IP68, and MIL-STD-810H standards for durability and is water-resistant up to a depth of 50 meters. The 646 mAh battery provides up to 3 days of service under intensive use and up to 16 days in power-saving mode. As of now, the official release date and pricing for the device have not been disclosed.
