Xiaomi has introduced its new Mijia Smart Electric Water Heater C 60L. The device is currently available on the Chinese market via the Youpin platform for 799 yuan, approximately 110 US dollars. Retail prices are expected to rise to 145 US dollars. This was reported by Ixbt.com.
This model, indexed as EWH60-MJ06, is designed for domestic use and specializes in providing a stable supply of hot water while maintaining energy efficiency. The device is equipped with a 2,200W heating element, which the manufacturer claims heats water in a very short amount of time.
The main feature of the new gadget is its high efficiency. Despite a tank capacity of 60 liters, the system has an output equivalent to 360 liters of hot water. This enables the device to provide continuous hot water for 72 minutes. Such a performance level is considered sufficient for large families.
Furthermore, Xiaomi announced that this device holds a first-class energy efficiency rating. Measuring 740 x 461 x 432 mm, the heater is equipped with an IPX4 protection system, allowing for safe use in high-humidity bathrooms. Additionally, the new model will be fully integrated into the company's smart home ecosystem.
