Zenit and Russian national team defender Igor Diveyev posted an archival photo on social media. The image shows a 10-year-old Diveyev alongside German national team players. This was reported by euro-football.ru.reports.
The photo features Lukas Podolski, Bastian Schweinsteiger, and Mesut Ozil. This picture was taken ahead of the Russia vs. Germany match during the 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
At that time, young Diveyev accompanied the players onto the field and participated in the pre-match ceremony. "My first time on the field with our national team! Only in the company of Podolski, Schweinsteiger, and Ozil," he wrote.
The Russian national team lost 0-1 to Germany at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium in October 2009. The only goal was scored by forward Miroslav Klose.
