Efficiency of State Enterprises to Be Improved

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree aimed at improving the efficiency of state-owned enterprises and reducing the production costs of the goods they manufacture. To enhance efficiency, expenditures will be reviewed quarterly, and principles of cost-effective production will be implemented within these enterprises.

The decree outlines the establishment of a Republican Commission, tasked with providing methodological assistance to state-owned enterprises in developing programs to optimize costs and improve efficiency. Furthermore, the commission will address issues related to reducing accounts receivable and payable of enterprises by modernizing payment systems.
