According to a decree by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the city government of Tashkent has announced that restrictions on the timing of watering plants and trees during the spring-summer season have been lifted. Previously, irrigation was only permitted between midnight and 5:00 AM. Now, this activity can be carried out throughout the day.
Additionally, a plan has been introduced to wash bushes along major roads at least three times a week. Multi-story residential buildings will be equipped with special water-saving reservoirs.
These measures aim to enrich the city’s environment with moisture and oxygen, significantly improving ecological conditions. As a result, green spaces will expand, dust levels will decrease, and streets will become more comfortable for residents.
