Wang Wanlin, an 80-year-old man from eastern China's Zhejiang province, has fathered more than 700 children. He has never married, according to the South China Morning Post.
Wang Wanlin has been helping homeless or street children since 1979. He first encountered such a child when he was 34. At that time, the 15-year-old had been forced to work in a coal mine by fraud and could not return home. Wang bought him a train ticket and changed his life.

This incident changed Wanlin's entire life. In his youth, he also experienced hardships - a neighbor falsely accused him of theft and he was sent to forced labor for 16 years.
In 1978, he was released and started working at a factory. A year later, he began helping children in need. He would invite homeless children to his home, spending his monthly salary on their food and travel expenses. Wang only asked the children to report that they had arrived home safely.
Wanglin took care of unmarried children. Thanks to his efforts, a 12-year-old boy named Yu achieved success in life. He stepped into an independent life and built a two-story house for his family.
