In Uzbekistan, training of personnel will be organized based on the “school – technical college (lyceum) – university” principle, reports the Ministry of Justice.
It is noted that starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, at least 25 percent of practical and laboratory classes in the relevant educational programs will be conducted by foreign professors and professional specialists with international certificates.
From September 1, 2025, on an experimental basis, training of personnel based on the “school – technical college (lyceum) – university” principle will be launched. In this framework, general education schools No. 250 and No. 273 in Yunusabad district of Tashkent city will be affiliated with a university, and the university will:
- once a month, conduct extracurricular lessons for 7th–9th grade students in the university’s laboratories on topics defined within the scope of their interests;
- ensure the safe transportation of students to and from the university laboratories.
Two separate programs have been adopted for the employment of school graduates who did not enter higher education, as well as students graduating from technical colleges and universities. For this purpose, 300 million dollars have been allocated to “Aloqabank” and “Milliy” bank. They will be responsible for providing profitable jobs to 100,000 young people through the “Youth Business” program and 140,000 university graduates through the “Step into the Future” program.
The Ministry of Employment, together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and “Milliy” bank, will launch a platform to connect graduates of universities, technical colleges, and vocational education institutions with employers. The Ministries of Employment, Education, and Higher Education will create the “Income in Action” electronic system to employ 3 million young people during holidays in jobs that do not require qualifications.
