Czech Republic Secures Major Victory Against Gibraltar

On November 18, 2025, the Czech national team played against Gibraltar, securing an impressive 6-0 victory and taking second place in Group L. The hosts scored their sixth goal following a set-piece situation. After Shick's corner kick, the ball was redirected toward the far post, where Granach placed it perfectly into the net.

Towards the end of the match, the Czechs had opportunities to increase the score further, but were denied by the post and some excellent saves by the goalkeeper. This dominant victory allowed the Czech team to maintain their lead over close competitors and secure second place in the group.

The team will now advance to the playoffs, finishing behind Croatia in the standings. Meanwhile, Gibraltar concluded the group stage without earning any points.
