In Kazakhstan, severe cold weather is expected in the coming days. According to Kazgidromet meteorologists, from January 13 to 15, a cold anticyclone will enter the country from Novaya Zemlya. This was reported by Tengri news.
Experts note that although the weather was relatively warm at the beginning of winter, now the real winter is showing itself. The cold anticyclone will first affect the northern regions and then spread to the eastern and other areas.
According to forecasts, on the night of January 14 in the north and the night of January 15 in the eastern regions, the nighttime temperature may drop to −30…−38 degrees. This may cause difficulties for daily life and transport movement for the population.
In addition, the rapid movement of the anticyclone will increase wind speed. In some northern areas of the country, the wind may reach 28 meters per second. Meteorologists urge the population to take precautionary measures and follow weather warnings.
