
Russia's "Azimut" airline plans to launch flights from Rostov-on-Don to Termez. Flights on this route are expected to be conducted up to seven times a week.
According to a report by RBK, citing "Rosaviatsiya," the airline also aims to operate seven weekly flights from Rostov to Dushanbe and Khujand.
Long-haul international routes are planned to destinations such as Jordan and Oman. Currently, "Azimut" is conducting regular flights to Tashkent and Samarkand.
According to data from the National Statistics Committee, as of early November 2025, 852,000 Russian citizens visited Uzbekistan. Over the first ten months of the year, a total of 9.7 million foreigners visited the country, which is 50 percent more compared to last year.
