Kanye West may be banned from entering Russia

Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has received a request to ban Kanye West from entering the country, according to Telegram channel SHOT.

Members of the "Veterans of Russia" movement argue that the rapper’s statements on social media X fall under laws against the rehabilitation of Nazism, as he called himself a Nazi and expressed admiration for Hitler. They demand that West be declared persona non grata.

Earlier, Kanye West referred to Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy as his friend and invited him to "hang out in Russia again" after their collaboration ended. This statement came just hours after Rubchinskiy announced he was cutting ties with West’s Yeezy brand.
