The Government of Uzbekistan has approved holding an artists and photographers festival in Bobur city in May 2026, the Ministry of Justice reported. This was reported by kursiv.uzreports.
The festival will be held once every two years. Contest winners will receive the President’s gift — a Chevrolet Onix car — as well as a diploma, a commemorative statuette, and a cash prize.
Applicants who wish to participate must submit documents to the organizers by February 1. An application form (CV) and three 6×9 color photos are required.
In addition, documents confirming work experience and participation in exhibitions or festivals must be provided. Applicants will also attach at least ten photos of their creative works and a video showing the process of creating the work.
By April 1, the organizing committee will compile the list of participants and notify those accepted to the festival.
