
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced ambitious plans aimed at the active development of the Baltic Sea region by 2026.
According to him, in his New Year's address, he emphasized the acceleration of large investments in the country's infrastructure. The Prime Minister said that this year will be a year of rapid development of the Baltic regions for Poland.
"We will accelerate the allocation of large funds for infrastructure projects. This year will be a decisive period for the Baltic region," Tusk said.
He also noted that by 2026, the Polish government aims to accelerate the process of forming the most powerful army in Europe.
As a reminder, Warsaw previously announced plans to expand the National Army's ranks to 300,000.
