“Avatar: Fire and Ash” tops $1B in two weeks

James Cameron’s “Avatar: Fire and Ash” has crossed the $1 billion mark at the global box office. According to Reuters, the film reached the milestone in just 15 days. This was reported by Kursiv.uz. reports .
Of the total, $310 million came from the U.S. and Canada, while international markets generated $690 million. The strongest results outside the U.S. were recorded in China, France, and Germany.
The franchise’s third installment is tracking at a pace close to the previous film, “The Way of Water,” which ultimately grossed more than $2.3 billion. “Fire and Ash” was released in 2025 and became the first film to earn $1 billion that year.
Analysts suggest that with few major competitors in theaters over the next month, the film’s final box office could even surpass $2 billion.
