Juventus thrash Sassuolo away

In Matchday 19 of Italy’s Serie A, Juventus visited Sassuolo away from home. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .
In the opening minutes, a mistake in the hosts’ defense gave the Turin side a chance: Valyukevich lost the ball near the penalty area, Yildiz shot, the goalkeeper parried it, and Cambiaso finished on the second attempt. In the 16th minute, during Kalulu’s cross from the right flank, Muharemovich tried to head the ball away but diverted it into his own net — 0:1.
Throughout the first half, Juventus kept up the pressure: Yildiz repeatedly drifted inside around the edge of the box and fired shots, but Sassuolo’s keeper kept his team in it.
In the second half, the Turin side continued to create dangerous chances. Thuram struck powerfully from the left toward the near post, and the goalkeeper pushed the ball out for a corner.
In the 62nd minute, David sparked the attack: Miretti shook off his marker and placed a precise shot into the far corner — 0:2. A minute later, David capitalized on an opponent’s mistake on a back pass, beat the defender, and made it a rout — 0:3.
Sassuolo also tried to respond from a set piece: Pierini’s free-kick toward the near corner was denied by a save from the Juventus goalkeeper.
With this win, Juventus moved up to 4th in the standings, three points behind the leaders (the Turin side have played two more matches than their rivals). Sassuolo are 11th.
