Rob Green expects Nuno Espirito Santo to leave

Matchday 21 of the English Premier League has kicked off. London’s West Ham suffered another defeat: the team lost at home to Nottingham Forest. This was reported by euro-football.ru reports .

Former club goalkeeper Rob Green believes Portuguese head coach Nuno Espirito Santo could be sacked in the near future. In his view, it is difficult for a specialist to keep his job when results are not coming.

“I can’t imagine how he stays in the job. You can’t hang on without winning at least sometimes. Today the performance wasn’t bad, but they still didn’t get any points. I don’t see any other way than a change of coach,” BBC Sport quoted him as saying.

After the defeat, West Ham remain 18th in the Premier League table.
