OpenAI and other tech giants paid 124.8 billion soums in taxes

In January-September 2025, 73 foreign companies paid a total of 124.8 billion soums in taxes to the Uzbekistan budget. This figure is 44 percent higher compared to the same period in 2024. The ten largest companies accounted for 93 percent of total tax revenues. Among them, Meta paid 35.2 billion soums, Apple 35.1 billion soums, Google 31.2 billion soums, OpenAI 4.7 billion soums, and Booking.com paid 2.9 billion soums in taxes. As for the remaining companies, TikTok paid 2.6 billion soums, Netflix 1.3 billion soums, both Acc and Zoom paid 1.1 billion soums each, and Adobe paid 1 billion soums in taxes.
