Which Chinese fruits have been banned in Uzbekistan and what is the reason?

A temporary ban on these products has been introduced due to the regular detection of plant quarantine objects in the batches of mandarins and pineapples imported into Uzbekistan from China. This was reported by the Plant Quarantine and Protection Agency.
According to the agency, samples taken from imported batches in the prescribed manner were examined in the Central Phytosanitary Laboratory. As a result of the analysis, quarantine pests such as "citrus white-wing" (Dialeurodes citri), eastern citrus shield (Unaspis yanonensis), and "ananas flour-like worm" (Dysmicoccus brevipes) were identified, and such cases were recorded in about 20 shipments.
The relevant Chinese national organization has been notified regarding the damaged products, and the necessary documents and information have been provided. During the period of the ban, the issuance of quarantine permits for mandarins and pineapples planned to be imported from China will be temporarily suspended.
According to the agency's explanation, this measure was temporarily introduced to prevent the entry and spread of potentially dangerous quarantine objects on the territory of Uzbekistan until the reasons for the ban are eliminated.
