According to the State Tax Committee, during December 2025, as of January 30, a total of more than 137.4 billion soums in cashback payments were made to consumers across Uzbekistan. This amount was formed on the basis of 209.7 million checks.
The city of Tashkent leads in cashback payments - 42.7 billion soums were received by residents of the capital. In second place is the Fergana region, where 21.8 billion soums of cashback were returned.
Next came Tashkent region - 15 billion soums, followed by the Republic of Karakalpakstan - 10.3 billion soums and Samarkand region - 8.4 billion soums in cashback.
The return of cash through the cashback system serves to increase the official purchasing activity of the population. This will have a positive impact on economic activity and tax revenues.
