Manchester City's official website has launched another pleasant tradition: the player of the month is determined by the votes of fans scattered across the club. This isn't just a simple "which one do you like?" survey - candidates' real contributions throughout the month are also clearly explained, and the selection becomes meaningful.
The first month of 2026 was truly tight for City: four tournaments, nine matches, separate pressures each week, a different scenario in each match. To stand out in such a table is not an easy task.
