
In January-September 2025, Uzbekistan's gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 1,304 trillion soums. According to data from the State Statistics Committee, this is 7.6% more compared to the same period last year. The main contributors to economic growth were the industrial, construction, and services sectors. GDP grew by 6.8% in industry, by 14.2% in construction, and by 8.7% in the services sector. Notably, growth in the field of information technology exceeded 21%. GDP per capita amounted to 34.5 million soums, which is 5.6% higher than last year. The services sector accounts for 49% of the economy, industry for 25%, while the share of agriculture has decreased to 17%. Small enterprises are generating 51.5% of the GDP. Their activity is especially high in agriculture and services. According to the Statistics Committee, the unobserved economy (household and shadow sector activities) is estimated at 433.7 trillion soums, making up one-third of the GDP.
