Entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan who employ graduates of higher educational institutions will be provided with preferential loans for a period of seven years. This was reported by the Ministry of Justice.
The loan amount can be up to 5 billion soums. For each hired graduate, the company receives up to 1 billion soums in funding.
This funding may be used to purchase equipment or replenish working capital. If the employed graduate leaves the job within two years, the loan interest rate will be revised to the market level.
However, if another graduate is hired to fill the vacancy, this rule does not apply. In addition, the country will hold a competition for the best startup and innovative projects among graduates.
The winners will be eligible to receive a grant of up to 1 billion soums provided that they employ at least two young specialists. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
