Arteta Reveals Terms for Extending Arsenal Contract

The head coach of London’s Arsenal club, Mikel Arteta, has revealed the factors that will influence his decision to sign a new contract with the team. The Spanish specialist's current contract with Arsenal is valid until June 30, 2027.

“I believe that a coach must earn the right to stay with the team for another day. It depends on how he responds to situations, how he conducts himself in the dressing room, the signals he gives to the team, and the level of support he receives from the players,” ESPN quotes Arteta as saying.

Arteta emphasized that support is the most important factor and noted that, above all, he is referring to the trust and assistance of the players in this regard. After 16 rounds of the Premier League, Arsenal under Arteta's leadership is leading the standings with 36 points.
