
The US President, Donald Trump, announced that a trade and economic agreement worth a total of $135 billion had been signed with Uzbekistan and called this deal excellent. According to him, over the next three years, Uzbekistan will invest nearly $35 billion in the US economy, and in the next ten years, this figure will exceed $100 billion.
These investments will cover important sectors of the US, including mining of rare minerals, aviation, and manufacturing of automobile spare parts. Uzbekistan also plans to invest in agriculture, information technology, the chemical industry, and the energy sector.
The White House leader expressed gratitude to Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and expressed hope that cooperation between Washington and Tashkent would become even more effective. For information, during the Uzbek president’s visit to the US, the parties signed a number of documents.
Among them are cooperation agreements on rare earth elements with the American companies Denali Exploration Group and Re Element Technologies. In addition, Uzbekistan will purchase Boeing aircraft, soybean and soybean meal.
