A decision was made by the governor of Tashkent region Zoir Mirzayev to allocate land from the territory of the Yukari Chirchik district to the Directorate for the Construction of the "New Tashkent City".

According to it, 122.3 hectares of land from the Yukari Chirchik district were allocated for the construction of the New Tashkent City.

In particular, 75.22 hectares of land were allocated from the Bordonkul region and 47.1 hectares from the Dustlik region.

To date, a total of more than 220 hectares of land have been transferred to the "Directorate for the Construction of the New Tashkent City" with the right of permanent use.

It should be noted that in October 2024, 110.4 hectares of land returned to the state reserve and reclassified from the Yukari Chirchik district were allocated to the "Directorate for the Construction of the New Tashkent City" with the right of permanent use.
