Musical legacy eternal: composer Sultonali Rakhmatov has passed away

Sultonali Rakhmatov, who made a huge contribution to the culture of Uzbekistan and was an honored artist and well-known composer and creator, has passed away at the age of 55, the Ministry of Culture reported. In recent years, Sultonali Rakhmatov suffered from serious illnesses such as diabetes, cirrhosis of the liver, and fluid accumulation in the kidneys; his life ended as a result of a heart attack.

Sultonali Rakhmatov was born on January 13, 1970, in the city of Tashkent. During his creative path, he achieved major accomplishments in the world of art: in 2010, he was awarded the title of "Honored Culture Worker of Uzbekistan." In 2006, he became a composer at the Royal Academy of New York. Sultonali Rakhmatov was also a member of the Union of Composers and Musicians of Uzbekistan and served as the artistic director of the Central Song and Dance Ensemble under the Ministry of Defense.

His musical heritage is very rich: "Uzbekistan", "Flower of Life", "Navruz", "Waltz", "Eastern Melody" and many other works have sounded on various stages of the country and firmly taken their place in people's hearts. These works are also important as an expression of our national culture and traditions.

Sultonali Rakhmatov worked tirelessly all his life in the fields of pop music and composing, and through his perseverance and dedication became an inspiration for many young generations. His passing is a great loss not only for the art community but for all our people.

The creativity and courage of the composer, who found a place in people’s hearts with his sincerity and work, will remain forever in memory. His brightest works, creative spirit, and life views will always serve as an example for the development of our culture.
