Polluted Air Persists in Uzbekistan


Air pollution in Uzbekistan is expected to persist for several days, according to the UzHydromet. The rise in temperature is causing the accumulation of dust particles in the atmosphere.

Experts are advising residents to exercise caution, recommending minimizing outdoor activities and wearing masks when going outside. As of the morning of November 17, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Tashkent stood at 142, which is considered a harmful level.
