Did a 15-year-old boy get married in Samarkand: truth and falsehood revealed

Videos about the alleged marriage of a 15-year-old boy in the Samarkand region have become widespread on social networks, raising questions and concerns among many. The Authorized Representative of the Oliy Majlis for the Rights of the Child - the Children's Ombudsman gave an official response to this situation.
It was established that the video, which was spread on the Internet, was posted on the social network by a resident of the Pastdargom district of the Samarkand region, N.A. (male, born in 1983). The first footage in the video was filmed during a wedding ceremony at one of the wedding halls in the Pastdargom district in November 2025.
However, it turned out that the next part of the video - that is, the footage of minors sitting on the stage as a bride and groom - was filmed in another wedding hall in the district. Most importantly, according to the Children's Ombudsman's information, there was no wedding at all at the place where the children were captured.
It was revealed that N.A. combined both images into a single video and distributed it on social networks in order to increase the number of subscribers. That is, although the video seems to have a "wedding" event, in reality it was made through editing.
Currently, the Pastdargom District Department of Internal Affairs is conducting a pre-trial investigation into the incident. It was stated that a legal assessment of the actions of citizen N.A. will be given, and additional information about the legal measures taken will be provided.
