Federico Chiesa equalized in the 87th minute, raising hopes that Liverpool was returning to the path of victory. However, in the 7th minute of added time, Edouard Nketiah finished the attack with a precise shot, bringing the win to his team.
With this victory, Crystal Palace rose to 2nd place in the standings. Liverpool suffered their first defeat in 6 rounds.
