At the 2025 World Championship in England, Uzbek boxers achieved high results and took a worthy place among the winners. Now, the amount of their bonuses has also been announced.
Athletes who win gold medals at the championship will receive a prize of 15 thousand US dollars. Silver medalists will be awarded $7,000 each, while bronze medalists will receive a $3,750 cash prize. Also, the coaches who trained the gold medalists will be awarded $7,000.
As a reminder, the Uzbekistan delegation won a total of 11 medals, winning 6 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze medals in the overall team standings, making history as the country with the most medals in the tournament.
Fazliddin Erkinboyev won the first gold medal, followed by Asadkhoja Moydinkhojayev, who won the second. Javokhir Ummataliyev took third place, Turabek Khabibullayev - fourth, Abdumalik Khalokov - fifth, and Akmaljon Isroilov - sixth.
In addition to 3 bronze medals in the women's competition, Navbahor Hamidova won a silver medal. Another silver was awarded to Jahongir Zokirov.
