Atletico Madrid crushed Real – 5:2 (video)

The Madrid derby from the 7th round of La Liga offered football fans a spectacular show. Atletico Madrid defeated Real Madrid 5:2 at home.

First, Roben Le Norman opened the scoring in the 14th minute, then Alexander Sørloth scored the second goal at 45+3. Real responded to these strikes through Kylian Mbappe (25') and Arda Guler (36') — the score was 2:2 before the break.

But in the second half, the stage belonged to Atletico. Julian Alvarez scored from a penalty in the 51st minute and added another goal during the game in the 63rd minute. Antoine Griezmann put the final point in the 90+3 minute — 5:2.

In statistics, Real was superior: 63% possession, 534 passes, 87% accuracy. But Atletico played more effectively in goals and attack — 13 shots, 7 on target, 5 goals.

This was Real Madrid's first defeat of the season, while Atletico entered the top four
