But now we conceded two goals against Newcastle, and now we've lost twice in the same situation. Standard situations are becoming increasingly crucial in the championship," he emphasized.
Arne Slot also highlighted Crystal Palace's playing style: "They played in their own way. They defended well in low blocks, made good use of fast players, and had a strong striker like Mateta. It was very difficult for us in the first half. Lately, we've been controlling the ball more, but breaking through a low block wasn't easy."
"It's very painful to concede in extra time. But we learn from every match and learn even more from such games," added the Liverpool manager.
