Messi was handed the key to the city of Miami


The Argentine forward Lionel Messi received a symbolic key to the city from Miami mayor Francis Suarez. This was reported by ESPN.

"I would like to present you this key as a gesture of gratitude for what you have done for our city, our country, and the entire football world. Thank you," said Suarez.

Messi called this gift a great honor and emphasized that he is very happy to live in this city with his family. In 2023, Lionel Messi became an Inter Miami player and turned into the club's top scorer in history.

In all competitions, he played 84 matches for the team, scoring 74 goals and making 37 assists.
