Formula 1 driver and member of the Ferrari team, Charles Leclerc, has arrived in Tashkent with his wife, Alexandra Saint-Mleux. The guest was welcomed at the international airport by the leadership of the National Olympic Committee.
His visit precedes the FIA Awards ceremony, which will be held today in Tashkent. Charles Leclerc was born on October 16, 1997, in Monaco.
He began his career in karting and later became the champion of GP3 in 2016 and Formula 2 in 2017. Leclerc made his Formula 1 debut in 2018 with the Sauber team, drawing attention with his consistent results.
Since 2019, he has been competing with the Ferrari team. Leclerc made history as Ferrari’s youngest winning driver and secured the team's first "pole" position in his debut season.
In 2022, he secured second place in the Formula 1 World Championship.
