Nikita Khaikin, goalkeeper of Norway’s Bodo/Glimt, commented on the surprise win over Manchester City. euro-football.ru reports reports .
In Matchday 7 of the Champions League league phase, the Norwegians beat the English giants 3–1.
Khaikin said that even after the match the team did not immediately realize they had beaten one of the strongest systems in the 21st-century football industry. He stressed that the game was a historic event not only for the club, but for all Norwegians and Norwegian sport as a whole.
The goalkeeper also described the result as one of the most important wins of his career.
Bodo/Glimt are currently 28th in the Champions League standings with six points.
