Arsenal joins the race to buy Endrick

“Arsenal” joins the race to sign Endrick

London club Arsenal are closely monitoring the situation of Real Madrid forward Endrick as they look to strengthen their attack. Mikel Arteta’s side are considering a move for the Brazilian talent after struggling for consistency in front of goal this season. This was reported by Goal.com reports.

The 19-year-old striker, who is currently on loan at France’s Lyon, is returning to his best form. Although he has not had enough playing time in Madrid, he has once again drawn the attention of Europe’s leading clubs by showing his high potential in Ligue 1 matches.

Arsenal’s management are not fully satisfied with the performances of striker Viktor Gyokeres and Gabriel Jesus. Despite spending a large sum on the Swedish Gyokeres, he has not been able to provide the level of productivity the team needs.

For that reason, Endrick, who can play both centrally and on the wing, is being viewed as an ideal candidate for the Londoners.

Endrick’s father, Douglas Sousa, said he was unhappy with his son’s situation in Spain, saying that Real Madrid’s management had hindered his development by keeping the young star on the bench.

The Madrid club plans a major squad overhaul in the summer and may be forced to sell some players to maintain financial balance.

In addition, Arsenal’s interest is not limited to Endrick. The club have contacted representatives of Arda Guler and are also examining Eduardo Camavinga’s situation on the transfer market.

Although Endrick himself wants to stay at Real Madrid, regular playing time in the Premier League could be a decisive factor for his future.
