Vinicius still cannot reach a contract agreement with Real Madrid

Real Madrid and star forward Vinícius Júnior are currently at a stalemate regarding a contract extension, with negotiations failing to reach an agreement despite his current deal running until 2027. The club has reportedly offered a net annual salary of €20 million, but the Brazilian’s representatives are holding out for a package closer to €30 million that includes various performance bonuses and signing fees. This financial gap has stalled progress in talks, creating a complex situation for the Spanish giants as they seek to secure the long-term future of their primary offensive asset.

Negotiations over a new contract between Real Madrid and one of the team's leaders, Vinicius Junior, have so far failed to produce the expected result.
According to The Athletic, the sides have not yet reached a definitive agreement on extending a deal that runs until the summer of 2027. The club has offered the Brazilian forward an annual salary of 20 million euros after taxes.
However, the player's agents do not consider this amount sufficient and are demanding around 30 million euros. At present, Vinicius earns 17 million euros a year at Real Madrid.
It is noted that the requested 30 million euros includes not only salary, but also various bonuses and payments for extending the contract. This is quite unusual for the club's policy, as such terms had not previously been offered to other players.
It is known that there has been no significant progress in the negotiations since the summer of 2025, and the sides still cannot reach an agreement.
In short, the situation remains open. If an agreement is not found soon, Real Madrid may face a major decision in the future, because Vinicius is not only a star of the team, but also one of the club's main assets.
