
One of the next major educational events of this year was the third Uzbekistan-UK Education Forum in London. This prestigious conference was actively attended by heads of leading higher education institutions of the two countries, researchers, international experts in the field of education, influential representatives of the British academic community and university leaders.
The main goal of the forum was to discuss new opportunities for further expanding and strengthening ties in the field of higher education between Uzbekistan and Great Britain. The participants identified the main areas of cooperation between the two countries and discussed future priorities.
During the forum, such important topics as the adoption and development of innovative practices in the education system, strengthening practical cooperation between universities and industrial enterprises, increasing the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market and ensuring their employment were discussed in detail.
The participants of the conference also exchanged views on implementing sustainable changes in the field of education and expanding the opportunities for inclusive higher education within the framework of developing international cooperation. The need to organize joint educational programs and international conferences between universities was also emphasized by both sides.
At the end of the forum, important agreements were reached to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education. In particular, specific agreements were reached on the issue of attracting more than 50 leading British professors and specialists to Uzbek universities. Also, important directions were identified, such as organizing international scientific conferences together with British universities, creating new educational and methodological literature, and establishing joint programs and exchange events.
This is a new stage for the Uzbek education system, which will create opportunities for our youth to receive an international level of education and will make a significant contribution to the country's economic and social development. This forum has determined the future stages of cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education and laid a solid foundation for achieving high results.
