Weather in Uzbekistan on March 9 will be quite unstable. In some regions rain is expected, and in certain places precipitation may turn into snow. Noticeable weather changes are expected especially in northern and mountainous areas. According to UzHydromet, cold and moist air masses will enter the republic from March 9 to 12, so the new week will begin not with spring warmth but with cool and humid conditions.
In Tashkent, the weather will also be changeable. Rain is expected in the second half of the day. The wind will change direction and blow from the west at 3–8 meters per second, sometimes strengthening up to 10–12 meters per second. Air temperature at night will be 9–11°C, and during the day 14–16°C.
In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, precipitation in the form of rain and snow is expected in some places, and fog may occur. Wind speed will be 7–12 m/s, sometimes increasing to 15–20 m/s and in some areas up to 22–25 m/s. Temperature at night will range from −3°C to +2°C, and during the day from 5°C to 10°C.
In Bukhara and Navoi regions the weather will also be changeable. Rain is expected in some areas, while in the desert areas of Navoi region precipitation may occur in the form of rain or snow. Fog is possible. Wind may strengthen up to 22–25 m/s. Temperatures will be 8–13°C in most areas and 2–7°C in the desert areas of Navoi region.
In Tashkent region, Syrdarya, Jizzakh and Samarkand regions, rain is expected in some places and fog may occur. Wind will blow from the west at 7–12 m/s, strengthening to 15–20 m/s in some areas. Temperature at night will be 7–12°C and during the day 12–17°C.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions rain is expected in some places. Wind may strengthen to 22–25 m/s and may be accompanied by dust storms. Temperature at night will be 9–14°C and during the day 15–20°C.
In Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions rain is expected in some places and fog may occur. Temperature at night will be 5–10°C and during the day 15–20°C.
In foothill and mountainous areas precipitation in the form of rain and snow is expected in some places. Fog, mudflows and avalanches are possible. Temperature at night will be 0–5°C and during the day 5–10°C.
