Mirziyoyev Welcomes Tokayev at Tashkent-Humo Airport


Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Tashkent on an official state visit and was welcomed with a ceremonial reception at the international "Tashkent-Humo" airport. Tokayev became the first head of state to visit this modern airport.

At the airport, an initial meeting took place between Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. During the conversation, issues related to enhancing strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries were discussed.

According to the visit agenda, high-level negotiations and the second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council are scheduled to take place tomorrow, November 15.
