Chinese people who lit Uzbek som and "smoke" were punished

A legal assessment was given to the unrest committed by Chinese citizens operating in Uzbekistan. The video, which caused widespread discussion on social networks, showed foreigners burning the Uzbek sum and using it to smoke tobacco.

As a result of the investigation conducted in connection with this situation, the offenders were forced to apologize to the people for their actions. But the case was not limited to moral punishment.

Strict financial sanctions were applied to every worker who showed disrespect to our national currency, which is our national symbol:

The amount of the fine is: 100 BRV;

In the amount: Each offender will pay 41 million soums.

This situation once again reminded that any person visiting the territory of Uzbekistan is obliged to respect the laws and national values of the country. The rule of law and the inevitability of punishment have been ensured in our country.
