Lucas Ocampos suffers partial facial muscle paralysis

Argentine forward Lucas Ocampos, who previously played for Sevilla and Milan, is currently in Mexico, featuring for Monterrey. He spent some time at the club alongside Sergio Ramos, though the Spanish defender later left the team. This was reported by euro-football.rureports.

Monterrey have announced that Ocampos has a health issue: he has been diagnosed with partial facial muscle paralysis. According to Ole, the player was injured after an unfortunate fall while playing with his daughter—he broke his wrist and also took a hard hit to his face.

As a reminder, Ocampos played for Sevilla from 2019 to 2024. Over the course of his career, he has also appeared for France’s Marseille and the Netherlands’ Ajax.
