According to the new resolution approved by the government, the procedure for issuing sanitary and epidemiological certificates for food and agricultural products has been fundamentally updated. The adoption of the administrative regulation aims to establish clearer, more understandable, and faster mechanisms for manufacturers, importers, and entrepreneurs.
According to the new regulations, the sanitary-epidemiological conclusion issued for products is valid for up to 3 years. This practice reduces the excessive bureaucratic burden on entrepreneurs and contributes to the stable organization of business processes.
At the same time, for products imported from foreign countries, the conclusion is drawn up in accordance with the shelf life of this product. If the expiration date is not specified in the goods, such a conclusion may be issued indefinitely. The main goal of state control is to ensure the release of safe, reliable products to the market.
Cases in which a sanitary conclusion is required (Heading 5):
- When the production of a new type of product begins;
- When the composition of the existing product changes;
- When making additional changes to the technological process or equipment;
- Products prepared as an experiment;
- food and agricultural products imported into the republic;
- You took it when the conclusion expired.
Procedure for using the service (Heading 5):
To obtain a sanitary-epidemiological conclusion, applicants can apply directly to the Center for Public Services in their region or submit an application electronically through the my.gov.uz portal. This process is aimed at creating conveniences for entrepreneurs, reducing excessive mobilization and paperwork.
The Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health approves all conclusions electronically based on a QR code. The most important thing is that the approved document is sent to the applicant's personal account within one working day after submitting the application. This speed will help entrepreneurs save time and resources.
The new regulation is considered an important step aimed at strengthening consumer safety, further determining control over the quality of products in the market, and creating a favorable ecosystem for entrepreneurs.
