In the "Strandja" ring, our girls instilled confidence with victories

The 77th Strandja International Tournament, taking place in Sofia, Bulgaria, continues in a lively, intense, and exciting atmosphere for fans. At this prestigious competition, representatives of the Uzbekistan national team are once again demonstrating their skill, courage, and desire for the championship. The tournament is indeed a major international boxing competition held for the 77th time, and Uzbek boxers are actively participating in Sofia.
Especially in this program, the representatives of our women's national team became the center of special attention with their confident performances in the ring. Our representative Feruza Kazakova, who held her second fight in the -51 kg weight category, entered the ring against Jazira Urakbayeva from Kazakhstan. In an interesting, intense, and irreconcilable clash, our compatriot left no serious chance for his opponent. He secured the victory with an absolute advantage of 5-0 thanks to his accurate shots, calm movements, and reliable tactics. This result clearly demonstrated not only his high athletic form but also his serious preparation for the competition.
Humorabonu Mamajonova, representing Uzbekistan in the -57 kg weight category, faced Brazilian Serguero Romero. Despite having an experienced and serious opponent on the opposing side, Mamajonova carried herself very carefully throughout the fight. He showed composure in every situation, and in decisive moments, he showed character. In the end, our athlete won with a score of 3:2 and advanced to the next stage. This victory was not easy, but it is precisely such difficult trials that open up the will of great athletes.
Nigina Uktamova, competing in the -57 kg weight category, faced Elise Glynn of England. Our experienced boxer fully demonstrated his skill and experience in this fight. He did not want to give the initiative to his opponent, held the control of the fight in his hands, and maintained the advantage with his confident movements. As a result, Uktamova secured a worthy and confident victory with a score of 4:1. Such victories will undoubtedly boost the team's morale and further strengthen the fans' hopes.
At -60 kg, a slightly unexpected situation occurred. Two representatives of our country - Sitora Turdibekova and Mushtariybonu Ibrohimjonova - met in the very first round according to the draw. This, of course, was not an easy situation for both the fans and the coaching staff. The match between our two compatriots lasted two rounds. Then, in the third round, the coaching staff announced that Mushtariybonu would not continue the fight. Thus, Sitora Turdibekova was recorded as a boxer who advanced to the next stage.
In the -65 kg weight category, Navbahor Hamidova, a World Cup finalist and World Cup winner, has begun her competitions. Her first opponent was supposed to be the representative of Kazakhstan, Arujan Zhangabayeva. However, due to the opponent's refusal to fight, the victory was awarded directly to Navbahor Hamidova. Although this situation is somewhat regrettable for fans who want to see the full match in the ring, the fact that Hamidova made it to the next stage without excessive effort can also be assessed as an important advantage.
Of course, the interest in the competition doesn't end there. Ahead of us, another boxer, Javohir Ummataliyev, is facing Brazilian Santos Dos Beli. This match will undoubtedly be another important test for our team, another great opportunity.
According to the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan, the competitions in Sofia continue in a hopeful spirit for our national team. As can be seen from today's results, our boxers are ready not only to win, but also to show character, will, and high level in every fight. Every punch raised in the "Strandja" ring is essentially a blow aimed at raising the Uzbek flag even higher.
